Hi, I'm Jamie.
Innovation Learning Expert
As a certified art educator, I noticed that my students could follow directions and guides on activities, but struggled to think critically and creatively. On my very first day in the classroom, I had a hands-on style lesson prepared and was shocked to find my students didn’t know what to do because they had never experienced an open-ended project. That’s when I threw out everything I know about teaching.
For the past eight years, I have worked with hundreds educators from all over the world to help bring change to education at all levels because it’s so important to teach students at any age to think critically and find their own voice.

Innovation Kids Mini-Camp
You're Mission Should You Choose To Accept It...
This mini-camp consists of three Innovative Challenges that encourage your child to design, create and make their unique solutions.
We will also teach you and your child our creative problem-solving framework and walk you step by step on how to help guide your child through the problem-solving process.

What ages is this for?
This mini-camp is designed best for children ages 7-10 and their parents.
What materials do I need?
We design all our innovation challenges to be completed using what you have around the house using recycled materials and basic art and craft materials like scissors, glue, paper, and markers or crayons.
How much time will this take?
The mini-camp is self-paced so you can move at what speed is best for your child.
What if I'm not a creative or crafty parent?
First of all, everyone is creative! But I understand you may feel like you can't guide your child based on your own creative experience. Each challenge has a video introduction that will walk you and your child through the creative process. This eliminates the need for you to be Pinterest perfect and works even if you're non-crafty.
